You can write for smcnews.com
There must have been times when you felt like writing about issues, which confront the Church and society. You couldn't because you were unsure about how it would be used, or simply doubted if it would be used at all! With the smcnews network, times have changed. We wait for your comments, opinions and suggestions to the larger society, reflecting on socio-religious and political-cultural issues affecting the society. Do limit your articles to 600-700 words. Please also note that the ‘smcnews” would edit the articles for length, clarity and linguistic correctness. Articles should be original in thought. Articles appeared elsewhere also will be considered. Writing for a website is different from writing for a print magazine or paper. Therefore please note the following. What you write should be original. If you have nothing original to say, please do not say anything. Be simple. Please write for a high school child. If she/he understands, the scholar also will understand. Pleasedo not make people search for dictionaries. Write short sentences and short paragraphs. One paragraph should have only one idea, and ideally only one sentence. Do not try to teach doctrine and philosophy. No one comes to a news site to do theological research. Be concrete and specific. Do not just say she was killed," if the person was stabbed eighteen times, and died bleeding on the side of a public road. Please do check the spelling and grammar before sending.
